Favorite Wing Spots

Our Favorites

These are not in any particular order. Just a few of our favorites as well as what makes them special.

• Dilly Bistro (Mariemont) - The sweet cherry chili with BBQ Dry Rub on the side has been a constant contender for the single best wing in the city. A tremendous wing.
• Wild Mikes (Several locations, we love Delhi!) - A phenomenal blue cheese alongside Mike's Mix sauce cannot be beat. If you are easily over-sauced, ask for light sauce. Wild Mike's serves your wings swimming in sauce by default.
• Midway Cafe (Fort Thomas) - One of the  best sauce selections in town. Classics everyone loves with several unique (and delicious) flavors as well. Wasabi Teriyaki, Spicy Nutella, and Jalapeno Honey Mustard are fantastic flavors you won't find many other places.
• The Pony (OTR) - The only complaint here is the wings are smaller than we would prefer. If you can get past that, it is an absolutely delicious wing and the truest "Classic Buffalo Bar" in town. Sundays are for the Bills (please don't jump through their tables)
• O'Bryons - (Newport is our favorite. Also O'bryonville) - They boast easily a top 3 blue cheese in town. Their spicy garlic is fantastic because it is smothered in fresh cloves of garlic. Their Hot BBQ is also one of the best overall flavors in town. Habanero ranch is also a rare sauce to find, with incredible flavor and some solid heat.
• Wings on Brookwood (Hamilton) - a quintessential wing spot. Classic 90's Wings and Rings style building. Fantastic vintage wooden bowls, and some of the best damn wings and blue cheese you will find around. 
• Friendly Stop (Glendale) - A cool little dive bar that somehow feels like home the moment you walk in. Unique elevated seating behind the bar gives it real character, and the people are as friendly and welcoming as the name suggests. The wings are large, juicy, and done right. Classic flavors that don’t try too hard and absolutely deliver. Excellent blue cheese rounds it out. A simple, honest wing spot in the best way.
